BADD GIRLS Win 2003 Liberty Bell Classic!
Rivalry at its best...

wrap-up from Philadelphia, PA
October 11th & 12th
Last year at this time, TNT had something to smile about, winning the 2002 Liberty Bell Classic in Philadelphia, PA against the Badd Girls, 14-0.  The Badd Girls had something to prove in the championship game against TNT for 2003 in a  rematch of these two very powerful teams.

In a seven team field, three from Virginia, two from Philadelphia, one from New York and one from Ohio, the Badd Girls prevailed over TNT in an exciting overtime match, 18-12.

The Badd Girls went undefeated and un-scored upon in the two day tournament, both winning all three games in round robin play.  TNT also went undefeated but gave up six points to the Misfits from Philadelphia.

The Badd Girls took home the 1st place Cash Prize ($300.00) and the WAFFF championship duffle bags.  Gwen Diggs, Badd Girls, was chosen MVP of the championship game and showed what true leadership was all about on and off the field.

TNT received a second place cash prize of $200.00 and the Blue Angels received a $150.00 voucher for any future WAFFF tournament for finishing third.  TNT played their hearts out against the Badd Girls in the championship game, but fell short in overtime when the Badd Girls defense intercepted a pass in the end zone to stop TNT from scoring.  The Badd Girls then scored on their first overtime possession leaving the final score 18-12.
