BADD GIRLS Win 2003 Liberty Bell Classic!
Rivalry at its best...

Last year at this time, TNT had something to smile about, winning
the 2002 Liberty Bell Classic in Philadelphia, PA against the Badd Girls, 14-0. The Badd
Girls had something to prove in the championship
game against TNT for 2003 in a rematch of these two very powerful teams.
In a seven team field, three from Virginia, two from Philadelphia,
one from New York and one from Ohio, the Badd Girls prevailed over TNT in
an exciting overtime match, 18-12.
The Badd Girls went undefeated and un-scored upon in the two day tournament,
both winning all
three games in round robin play. TNT also went undefeated but gave
up six points to the Misfits from Philadelphia. |

The Badd
Girls took home the 1st place Cash Prize ($300.00) and the WAFFF
championship duffle bags. Gwen Diggs, Badd Girls, was
chosen MVP of the championship game and showed what true leadership was
all about on and off the field.

TNT received a second place cash prize of $200.00 and the Blue
Angels received a $150.00 voucher for any future WAFFF tournament for finishing third.
TNT played their hearts out against the Badd Girls in the championship
game, but fell short in
overtime when the Badd Girls defense intercepted a pass in the end zone to
stop TNT from scoring. The Badd Girls then scored on their first
overtime possession leaving the final score 18-12.
