Q: Are there membership fees?
A: No. There is no cost to becoming a WAFFF affiliated team. The only
requirement to the free membership is that your manager or coach or captain registers
the whole team on-line through the WAFFF web site.
Q: What are the annual membership benefits?
A: Teams receive the right to play in any WAFFF tournament and to have a team
webpage hosted on the WAFFF.com website. Teams will also receive free marketing assistance
and help with starting local leagues or tournaments. Most importantly, you are instantly
connected to information about your fellow flag football players across the country!
Q: What's the catch? Why does WAFFF exist?
A: There is no catch. WAFFF was conceived and developed by Dick Schoenkopf as a
result of his daughter’s passion for flag football, and his own interests and passion to
ensure women and girls have an equal opportunity to play in leagues and tournaments. As
the premier organization for women's flag football, WAFFF wants to grow its current membership
so that it can be a more effective advocate for the sport and for the teams and leagues that
are playing.
Q: When is WAFFF holding its next tournament?
A: WAFFF is no longer hosting its invitational tournament in February 2009 due to lack of
interest. However, we hope to reinstate the event sometime later in the year. We are currently
combing women’s flag football leagues and tournaments
around the country and will invite the best teams to compete in this tournament. Sign up for
Tournament updates to get details over the coming months.
Q: Will WAFFF continue to host local tournaments?
A: We take pride in knowing that our tournaments have continued to grow in popularity
as word has spread about our organization. However, our primary focus is growing our membership
and being advocates for the sport. We are happy to consider partnering with local leagues or
teams to sponsor tournaments in your city. Please contact us if you would like to talk about a
local tournament.
Q: How often is the WAFFF newsletter published?
A: Once each quarter, End Zones is emailed to newsletter subscribers.

to subscribe. (You must be a member to receive the newsletter.)
Q: Will my name be given out or sold to any mailing lists?
A: Absolutely not. WAFFF maintains and keeps confidential its membership database.
Only player names and positions will be visible if someone clicks on your team name.
